ШН (ShN) 250-34 pump

Centrifugal (rotary) slurry pump ШН 250-34 (ShN 250-34) is designated for pumping slime water, flotation wastes, effluent wastes and industrial water wastes, conditioned and non-conditioned magnetite suspensions with solids content up to 400 g/l with maximum solids size of up to 6 mm and temperature of the pumped media above +1°С and below +40°С.

To increase wear resisting property of slurry pumps units and to prolong their service life, impellers, scroll cases and sealing rings are manufactured out of special alloy cast iron. The mentioned special alloy’s hardness index according to Rockwell scale is 56-63 points which exceeds significantly the similar indices of cast iron «сч 20» iron (22 points) and steel «35Л» (30-50 points).

Recently we have developed production of impellers out of improved special-property alloy. Tests conducted in plant conditions demonstrated 2.5 – 3 times longer service life of special alloy impellers as compared to the service life of basic manufacture impellers.

An alternative to extend the service life is to use a slurry pump «ШН-250-34 МПК» which has advanced indices of units (a scroll case, a front lid) wear resistance and durability due to use of lining made out of monolithic polycrystal silicon carbide. The technical properties, sizes of connections, diameters of the pump intake pipes and discharge outlets in this version of the pump are the same as in the base version.
