ШН (ShN) 500-40 pumpCentrifugal (rotary) slurry pump ШН 500-40 (ShN 500-40) is designated for pumping slime water, flotation wastes, effluent wastes and industrial water wastes, conditioned and non-conditioned magnetite suspensions with solids content up to 400 g/l with maximum solids size of up to 6 mm and temperature of the pumped media above +1°С and below +40°С.

To increase wear resisting property of slurry pumps units and to prolong their service life, impellers, scroll cases and sealing rings are manufactured out of special alloy cast iron. The mentioned special alloy’s hardness index according to Rockwell scale is 56-63 points which exceeds significantly the similar indices of cast iron «сч 20» iron (22 points) and steel «35Л» (30-50 points).
Recently we have developed production of impellers out of improved special-property alloy. Tests conducted in plant conditions demonstrated 2.5 – 3 times longer service life of special alloy impellers as compared to the service life of basic manufacture impellers.
